Ed Cong is a Partner and Portfolio Manager of Marathon Asset Management, LP.  Mr. Cong is a member of Marathon’s Executive Committee, Investment Committee, and Diversity & Inclusion Council. Mr. Cong is responsible for portfolio construction, asset allocation, and overall strategy for Marathon’s private, asset-based investment funds and programs. He also is the lead portfolio manager for structured finance investments in Marathon-managed funds and separate accounts. He joined Marathon in 2006 from Citigroup’s Institution Clients Group, where he specialized in asset-backed financings within the Financial Institutions Group.  Previously, he was a quantitative research analyst at Morgan Stanley Capital International.

Mr. Cong holds a B.S. in Operations Research and Financial Engineering from Princeton University.
