David leads a team managing a portfolio of North American sub-investment grade public and private credit including high yield bonds, loans and CLOs in the OMERS Global Credit group.

David played a key role in building the sub-investment grade credit capabilities at OMERS in direct investments and establishing the external private credit partnership program.

Prior to joining OMERS in 2013, David spent over eight years working in London, England, where most recently, he spent four years investing in high-yield, distressed debt and special situations across the capital structure. Prior to this, David held various positions on the buy-side and sell-side in both London, England and Toronto, Canada.

David has his Bachelor of Commerce Honours from Queen’s University and is a CFA® charterholder.
