Ben Fund is a Partner at Carlyle, based in New York, where he is part of the Credit Opportunities team focused on private credit investments. He also leads Carlyle’s investment strategy in the Sports, Media, and Entertainment sectors.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Ben was an Analyst at Point72 Asset Management, where he invested in corporate credit as part of a long/short hedge fund strategy. Before that, he spent five years at Apollo Global Management, most recently as a Principal in the Illiquid Opportunistic Credit group. Earlier in his career, he worked in investment banking at both Barclays and Bear Stearns.

Ben holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School and a Bachelor of Arts with honors, both from Emory University.
